Blwyddyn o Adfer Mawndiroedd ym Mryniau Clwyd a Dyffryn Dyfrdwy – Gweithio Gyda\u2019n Gilydd er Budd Natur<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae wedi bod yn flwyddyn lwyddiannus ar gyfer adfer mawndiroedd ar draws Bryniau Clwyd a Dyffryn Dyfrdwy diolch i\u2019r bartneriaeth arbennig rhwng t\u00eem Tirwedd Genedlaethol Bryniau Clwyd a Dyffryn Dyfrdwy, Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru a\u2019r Rhaglen Weithredu Genedlaethol ar Fawndiroedd, yr RSPB, a budd-ddeiliaid lleol.  Gyda\u2019n gilydd, rydym wedi darparu gwelliannau sylweddol yn rhai o gynefinoedd pwysicaf yr ucheldir sydd dan fwyaf o fygythiad, er mwyn helpu i ddiogelu bywyd gwyllt, storio carbon a chefnogi ecosystemau iachach a chryfach i\u2019r dyfodol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un o\u2019n llwyddiannau mwyaf oedd adfer hydroleg mawndiroedd ar Rostir Llandegla a Rhostir Dolydd.  Gosodwyd dros 2.7 cilomedr o rwystrau ffosydd a byndiau cyfuchlinol i ail-wlychu ardaloedd o\u2019r mawndiroedd a oedd wedi sychu ac erydu dros amser.  Mae\u2019r nodweddion hyn a luniwyd yn ofalus yn arafu d\u0175r, cadw lleithder o fewn y gors, ac yn annog planhigion pwysig sy\u2019n creu mawn megis Mwsogl Migwyn. Mae mawndiroedd wedi\u2019u hail-wlychu\u2019n helpu i fynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2\u2019r newid hinsawdd drwy storio carbon ac yn creu cynefinoedd ar gyfer rhywogaethau megis y gylfinir, g\u00efach, gweision y neidr a mursennod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rydym hefyd wedi cynnal rhaglen o waredu coniffer, gan glirio 10 hectar o goed a hadodd eu hunain ar hyd ffin Coedwig Llandegla a Rhostir Rhiwabon.  Gall y coed hyn ddominyddu planhigion brodorol a newid cymeriad y rhostir os na ch\u00e2nt eu rheoli.  Mae\u2019r gwaith i\u2019w gwaredu wedi adfer cynefinoedd rhostir agored ac wedi gwella gwelededd o\u2019r guddfan adar gyhoeddus gerllaw, gan roi golygfa well i ymwelwyr o\u2019r dirwedd hon a chyfle i weld bywyd gwyllt megis y rugiar ddu heb amharu ar ardaloedd sensitif o\u2019r rhostir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae\u2019r gwaith adfer hwn eisoes yn helpu i gynyddu lefelau d\u0175r, arafu erydiad a gwella amodau ar gyfer bywyd gwyllt yr ucheldir ar draws ein safleoedd mawndirol.  Dros amser, bydd y buddion yn cynyddu wrth i lystyfiant adfer ac wrth i dd\u0175r barhau i ledaenu ar draws ardaloedd sydd wedi bod yn sych ers degawdau.  Mae hwn yn waith hirdymor a chadarnhaol o ran yr hinsawdd – ac ni fyddai wedi bod yn bosibl heb bartneriaethau cryf ac ymrwymiad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
