Come along, hear about some of the important work taking place across the Clwydian Range & Dee Valley National Landscape, share your views, ask questions and help shape its future.
Our forums bring together Town and Community Councils, Local Members, and anyone with an interest in the National Landscape.

At this forum, we’ll hear about two important projects:
Moorland Fire Prevention
Find out more about the work being undertaken to help prevent moorland fires and protect our precious landscape and reduce the risks to wildlife and habitats.
Curlew Recovery Project
Hear about the work taking place within the National Landscape to support the recovery of curlew populations and protect this iconic and much-loved moorland and farmland bird.
There will also be an opportunity to hear updates from the National Landscape team and find out about upcoming projects, practical support and potential funding opportunities.

A forum for your community
The forums are designed to be a two-way conversation, with plenty of opportunity to discuss issues that matter locally and take part in a dedicated question and answer session.
Whether you represent a Town or Community Council, community group, or are involved in a local project, or simply have an interest in the future of the National Landscape, you are welcome to attend.
You may have a question, an idea, a project to showcase or an issue you would like to raise—or simply want to find out more about what is happening across the National Landscape.
Could your council have a National Landscape Champion?
Some Town and Community Councils have appointed a dedicated National Landscape Champion from among their members. This provides a positive way of maintaining regular communication and strengthening links between councils and the National Landscape team.
If your council has not already appointed a Champion, we would be delighted if you would consider doing so.

Taking the Forum to different Communities
We recognise that the National Landscape covers a large area and that travelling long distances can be difficult.
To make the forums more accessible, we are rotating meetings around different communities within the National Landscape, with the aim of eventually visiting as many communities as possible.
If you know of a community that would benefit from hosting a future forum, please let us know.
