A lovely historic house and gardens, former home of Lady Eleanor Butler and Miss Sarah Ponsonby who captured the imagination of Regency society when they eloped from Ireland together to create this rural idyll by Gothicising their home. Opening Times

  • Historic House: April – October daily from 11-4pm
  • Tearooms: April – October daily from 10-4pm
  • Grounds: Open from 8am to sunset all year round. Dogs on leads welcome

Ticket Prices

  • Historic House:
    • Adult: £9.00
    • Children aged 5 to 16 years old: £7.00
    • Children under 5 years old: free
    • Family (2 adults and up to 3 children): £25
    • Family One Adult (1 adult and up to 3 children): £16
  • Grounds are free to enter all year round.
