The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB is a dynamic landscape that cannot afford to stand still. Thriving communities and successful businesses need the freedom to develop.

But the development has to be sustainable. In other words, it must balance environmental, social and economic factors – so that we can meet our needs without compromising the future.

We want to encourage local communities, businesses and individuals to plan and implement projects that enhance the area and create a lasting legacy for the enjoyment of this precious landscape. To help with this, we have several grants in place to help fund initiatives that fulfil different criteria.

Did You Know?

Our grants are The Sustainable Development Fund, The Community Countryside Grants Scheme, and the Landscape Enhancement Initiative Grant.

If your project enhances the landscape, protects wildlife in any way, or encourages the local community to get involved in securing the future of the AONB, then you may be in a position to apply for a grant or funding.

Get in touch with the grants team at the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB, who can advise you on whether your project would be considered for a grant, and how to proceed.
