Community Transport Projects
Community transport is vital in the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape, especially for those who can ‘t access conventional public transport, including the elderly, disabled, and rural residents.
Community transport promotes social inclusion by improving access to healthcare, education, and recreation opportunities. It also enhances environmental sustainability by reducing carbon emissions and contributes to overall well-being by offering accessible and affordable transport solutions.
If your community are looking to improve rural connectivity through activities such as
- Dial-a-Ride minibus services;
- Volunteer car lifts;
- Eco-friendly transport options
We would like to hear from you as we may be able to support you. Contact Ceri Lloyd with your ideas via email: ceri.lloyd@denbighshire.gov.uk
