The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape are pleased to share with you the programme of events for Wales Dark Sky Week 2026.

The varied programme ranges from Stand Up Paddle Boarding in the dark to storytelling in the woods to viewing stardust under microscopes! We hope there will be something for everyone but be warned, tickets are limited so reserve your places quickly!
This year we are pleased to be working in partnership with various businesses and organisations as follows:
Adverse Camber Productions and their Cysur y Ser project are hosting five workshops with a focus on the stars and their Welsh myths and legends, as well as some more modern interpretations.
SUPLass Adventures will be hosting unforgettable evenings of stand up paddleboarding under the stars, something not to be missed.
Local astronomer Rob Jones and Menter Iaith will be hosting “Cawl a Chytser” a Welsh language event on Moel Famau. Set to be a tasty event serving up Cawl and hot chocolate from our very own Shepherds Hut.
We are also pleased to welcome our colleague Dani Robertson, Dark Sky Officer for Eryri National Park Authority. Alongside ourselves, Dani will be presenting about the recent work of the NOS Gogledd Partnership, the highs and lows in the battle to protect our night sky.

We will be sharing the various booking methods across our socials over the next week however, should you have any specific questions about the programme please contact ceri.lloyd@denbighshire.gov.uk
